The Birdy is a fast full suspension folding bicycle. To mark 10 years in production Riese und Muller decided to replace the original tube frame with a hydroformed monocoque frame.

I assisted their designer Stijn Deferm by creating a 3-d solid CAD model of the new shape that would allow his concept to be manufactured.

Interestingly this was a photo of the old Mk1 bicycle, but I used photoshop to replace the original frame with my 3-d CAD model. Mouse over the photo to see the original.
